Abandoned checkout for cash-on-delivery stores

Abandoned-cart email is built for card payments and an email address. In a cash-on-delivery market the phone number is the whole sale, and somebody who typed it and stopped is worth a call, not a newsletter.

Captured while they type

The row is written as the fields are filled in, not when the button is pressed. Somebody who typed their name and number and then closed the tab still leaves you a lead with a product, a quantity and a city on it.

What you do with it

Call them. That is the whole feature. The list carries the product they were looking at, the offer they had chosen, the city and the moment they stopped, and it exports as CSV for whoever does the calling.

It closes itself

When the same number later places an order, the row is marked recovered on its own, so nobody is called about an order they already made and you can see how much the calling is actually worth.

Where it sits in the funnel

The dashboard shows forms started against orders placed. The gap between those two numbers is this list. Watching it shrink is the fastest feedback you get on whether a change to the form helped.

Questions

Is this legal where I sell?

Calling a number somebody entered into your own order form to complete that order is ordinary business in most cash-on-delivery markets, but the rules on unsolicited contact differ by country and this is not legal advice. Say on the form what the number is used for, and honour a request to be left alone.

Can I export it?

Yes, as CSV, filtered by date and status.

The plugin that does all of this

The form itself is free on WordPress.org. The premium add-on is what adds the offers, the delivery table, the fraud rules and the dashboard.
